Here's a couple videos I had made to help folks get an idea to help build snares and help load premade snares. The origional posts got pruned but I thought maybe someone was thinking of building snare before season gets here...

Thank u sir. I can't always load a snare good enough. You make it look so easy. I been using a hammer on the end stop button. I just ordered a bench swager to use.

I have done that with all the snares I make now. I use sure locks and when I hold the snare up it closes all by itself. This works well with the coyotes I have caught this past season the catches seem to be higher. Less coyotes alive when you get there on your checks.

Great info. What about the double load, is that even such a thing?
I have seen/done it and its a thing, but its privileged information only available through Newt's New Jersey Snaring and Trapping School. I was shown by its originator but sworn to secrecy. I don't use it on my snares though as I buy them pre-made these days and I'm happy enough with the results I get from the standard loading method.

Anyone ever see the video on You Tube by the Canadian who says to load the FRONT four inches of the snare ? Absolutely one of the reason I can't stomach watching those type of videos. The guy doesn't have a CLUE what he's doing, yet he's out teaching others how to do it ! Thanks ADC for tellin' it the way it (really ) is !
