I use a set for mb550's, they also set duke #3 and 1.75's. Great product and great to deal with. He sent the setters with a bill and had me mail a check when I got them. Not much business conducted like that anymore.

Not sure if they're the same ones I have but I like them. If you have soft mud when setting or can not set over knee they are great. The ones I have a lock to keep them held open if I want.

I love the One Hand Setters. Great tool. Thanks Dave. Fast service.
Ewcalls, you have these Setters. I recall looking at them, with you, at a rendezvous a few years ago.

I have a set I use on my 750's. Sure are nice when standing in deep water too! And much safer while raising the pan on those big traps.

Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine!

I've got a set for 750s and 550s. Same deal, Dave sent the setters before he had my money in hand. I appreciate his trust.

Just started and they work great. Use them on Sleepy Creek 1.75 4 coil. Their Girl is getting more involved, but I will keep using them myself!

I have 2 sets. One for Montana #3 and another for MB550. One size doesn’t set all
But when my hands are tired, a setter makes things much easier

I've got two sets, one for MB 750 & will also work on Bridger #5 coil spring, and the other for MB 550's. Dave is a super guy to work with, believe me.

I originally ordered a set for #3 Bridger. After buying K.O. Extremes, I adapted them to work. Just had to cut and add a little to the part that fits over the levers. Works great and worth every penny.

The guy who makes the setters name is Dave Sheldon. It is not Shelton.

He is a great guy to deal with. He made a set for me that is slightly modified.

I have two for mb750 and two for mb550. The reason I have two is because during a busy time I don’t want to lose or break one and be SOL.

I have a spare in reserve for all important tools. Most are painted fluorescent orange to prevent accidentally leaving a tool somewhere.

I started a new beaver job today. The setters open the mb750 traps like nothing.

I use Alaskan #9 foothold traps for wolves and "The One Handed Setters" are the best I have ever used. I don't set traps without them now. You can tie them together and hang them around your neck while hiking in with big fast traps. I add colored surveyor's tape to each pair so I know which pieces to grab when I leave the sno-go. You don't want half of one pair and half of another pair. Yep, Dave sent the setters and I paid by check after they arrived. Who does that anymore?
Go buy a set, you won't be disappointed! He's got them for everything, if not, he will make you a set for your traps too.

If you use the safety hook on the handle, you can use them to hold open a Alaskan #9 while your doing any repairs or customizing them and still be safe.

My Super Wide will pull your broken down 4 stroke, up a hill backwards, with you on it!

I use the one hand setters on newer MB750s. Good grief those springs are strong. The OHS make it easy.

I love mine. I painted them white and connected them with a piece of cable. That way when I'm making my set, I can hang them around my neck after I set the trap instead of setting them down. Also makes it easier to fish them back out if I drop them in the water; it's easier to hook the cable than two separate pieces of steel with a hook of some sort for when I inevitably drop them.

Lost without mine they allow me to get in and out after making a set, everything is done on my knees saving a lot of time and movement not having to set the MJ traps with my feet. Saves time, energy and you can breath easy with heavy clothing on. I just ordered a 2nd set for my new cat bag love them things.

I texted with him on January 19. I ordered 2 sets of setters. He said he had a few ahead of me. I haven’t heard from him since. He must be busy.

Those are not Dave's one hand setters. His are much better design.

It's a breeze to set larger coil springs while standing in the water.

I just received my setters for the MB 750. Man, these things are sweet and the safety hook allows you to free up both hands for final setting. Dave is super nice guy too and does business old school. You want be disappointed in these setters.

Another nice thing about the setters for the MB 750 is that they also work for Bridger #3. One setter for front foot or back foot.

Yep and if you are careful they will work for the Bridger #5 too.
