Just finished cleaning up a couple beaver skulls today. Slowly but surely I’m making a million bucks!

I macerated the skulls for 9 or 10 days, then put them in peroxide for about 20 hours, then gave them a coat of sealer.

Thanks everyone!!
RKH, I used mop n glo to seal them.
Wvboy, I used volume 40 which is 12% peroxide to whiten them. I have 27% peroxide but haven’t tried it yet cause I’m nervous about it lol. It would definitely get them whiter.

My friend used to do European mounts, 2 weeks in 90 degrees water and dirt in water for bacteria, then warm bath in simple green to degrease, then magnizium , peroxide paste, let dry then brush off

Good job on the skulls. Did you cement the teeth in the root canals?

You may have seen one of my beaver jaws that was in the Free Press in May 2018. Is was from a 43.6 kg beaver I took opposite to that jaw they found in the sand pits by you. The jaw was pre- glaciation period.
