Well, that fawn lived for six days after its photo.Nice pics. Not a ton of yotes there I worry more about the cats getting the fawns thick cover easy bushwhacking draws.

Great pictures! I have been getting deer pictures now.
Last night I went out spotting and went up high to watch a large area of fields and hillsides and tough country. I got to see two coyotes just about get a fawn. The yotes got a few bites at the fawns heels but it did manger to get away but just by inches. LOL It was an incredible thing to see the mother tried her hardest to interfere but she couldn't help much in that situation.
I have seen it before where they got away and I seen it once where the yote's did get a muley fawn. I say very sad when I see it happen.

Was in my tree stand on the White River breaks several year ago and seen a golden eagle harassing a yearling all the way until if got into the trees on the bottom, screeching and zig zagging all the way down from a high ridge. Did not seem like it could take a yearling but it sure was trying.

I bet that was incredible to watch snowy It really was something to see. My son was with me and he was amazed how they attacked and the persistent effort to take it down. The fawn won because of the field of alfalfa was to tall for the yotes to run faster. The fawn could move better in that tall crop. The fawn let out some chilling cry's a couple of times when they must have nipped it's heels. After the fawn got in the timber it was bailing like crazy or it was the mother trying to locate her fawn. I have know idea what took place then but I was praying the little guy would live.
