I always tell folks buy a few different types of Snares or CR's when first starting out, Find what you like and don't like, then learn to make your own, based on what you want. But there are those that will buy them from me in bulk because they would rather spend time scouting and trapping rather than making them. Another thought is time is money. If the snaremen has the time then making them is cheaper. If the time spent to make them yet taking time away from making money some where else then buying them is cheaper.
