How can a Company have stock that is selling right now for $58.00 a share , and have these kinds of margins?

It doesn't make sense to me.

Because some people believe that it will be doing better in the future. The market usually is a pricing mechanism for where earnings might be 6 months from now.

Hope and fear are the 2 primary drivers of stock prices day to day. As per white17 above, it is "hope" in this case.
There is likely also some accounting for the net present value or perceived value of a companies assets. For instance, lots of junior mining companies will trade at big multiples to their revenue because of proven resources in the ground (future revenue).

If it is an emerging industry like cannabis, there is likely an element of "cool factor" along with some irrational exuberance on the part of investors.

It wouldn't explain numbers that extreme, but also remember that a lot of firms tried to move losses to 2017 and profits to 2018 to take advantage of lower tax rates in 2018. So your ttm numbers might still reflect some artificially bad quarters.

Stocks are priced on expected earnings, dividends, and free cash flow. I own a pipeline stock that pays a 9% dividend and consistantly looses money.

That's what I figured. At least they are in the black as of right now. Price of crude has really hit pipeline MLP's hard.
