Does anybody have a pic or two of a fleshing beam stand? Ideally something where i could interchange my larger beam with my smaller muskrat and mink beam. Thanks!

Hern has posted pics on another site of his beam set up horizontally. I picked up a second beam cheap this summer and am going to try his method.

I bought one of their wall mount systems. I have it set up and think it will work out good.

Rendezvous that's a sweet set up you have. Is that a production model or one you made?

I did make it, I like making stuff and it adds a lot to the trapping experience.
A few more pics during construction...
Base is probably way over engineered, but is really solid.

Had to do a lot of configuration of the beam angle.

I found a sharp knife drawn across the edges to round them worked well ans cuts down on the mess.

I have PVC beams like that and have not perfected the base for it. Looks like yours is a great idea. Im guessing it dont move a lot when you are using it ?

"Had to do a lot of configuration of the beam angle."

So if you don't mind me asking or telling what angle did you end up with?

Thanks

patrapper1183, 10" dia. PVC, hard to find or expensive to purchase but an awesome setup.

ilbucksndux, It has been rock solid.

BBarnes, I believe it is 55 degrees and at the length I went with the beam hits me just above my umbilical hernia.

As far as the beams, I don't use the 4"(mink) beam, easier to do mink right on the stretcher boards.

Rendezvous, I assume that you can get all of your boards out of one piece of 10” pipe, correct?

You can't cheat the mountain pilgrim. Mountain's got its own ways.

Yes and with enough left over to do another mink beam, it is a little shorter though. I was thinking of making a bench type beam.
