What trap would you recommend to use for both beaver and coyote. Depends on what is legal on land in your state

Like stated it is what your state say you can use and then need to go from there. One will say one thing, will your own state say you can use that trap.

The KO Extreme 4 coil works quite well for both, even offset and lamed..

Though not my primary for coyotes, the Duke #4 does double duty for me. It IS my beaver foothold trap on a drowner rod. And once we get frozen ground with snow cover, I start using drags with the Duke #4
Is that the best trap? Don't know, I haven't tried every trap out there, but it works for both as I described for me.
My primary is the MB550 for canines with some Bridger dogless #2. This year I bought 2 dozen NoBS Jr. To try out and will see if I keep them or convert everything (except the drags) to MBs or the NoBS for the 2019/20 season
Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!
If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Went to the Iowa trapping convention today and seen the dogless #3 bridger for $150. NoBS had some very nice looking traps and he is doing a demo tomorrow-Designing traps for specific species. Seen some MBs 550 for 198. Great day in Iowa. Thanks for your replys. I cant make up my mind on a double duty trap. Seen #5 bridgers at funke for 240 so I bought more of them. LOL

My preference would be #3 double longs, if legal on land, but again, just my preference.

They are two differ animals with two different styles of trapping. I would get different traps so you aren't handicapping yourself.

Bridger #3 dogless would be my first thought. Have used them an mb550s on caster mound sets. Both caught beaver for me. I'd say the Bridger due to larger jaw. Both are proven yote traps

Jakes do double duty for me. We are required to use rubber jaws on our permits. I have rubber jaw MB650, MB750 and Jakes. The JC Conner traps are my preferred foothold.
