I sure hope they work. Made 2 gallon of cats n rats early this spring, half bobcat and half barn rats with a touch of beaver castor added. Tainted 5 days at 90 degrees, then preserved.
I've never used whole rats but mice do work really well. I would think they'll put out more smell and have better eye appeal since they're larger.

1 1/2 longsprings set around our cattle feedlot. Some baited with corn, but mostly set in trails through the grass or along walls and structures.
I've caught just over 400 now. Think I've caught 5 doubles like this
