elk river lures "grey". I did some testing on a couple fox behind my house a few years ago with a trail cam. They kept stealing my sticks that i put the grey lure on. A whole host of other lures got minimal reaction. Im confident a grey fox wont walk by that lure without investigating it. As far as bait, something fresh has worked better for me with fox and bobcats rather than a prepared bait. If i have fox i need to catch, a baseball size chunk of a chicken or rabbit down a deep dirthole is my choice.

Lures: Dobbins Backbreaker, O'Gorman Powder River Cat Call, home made Pacific Call Baits: Bacon Bait by a mile. Jack Mack (as described in Mel Hershberger's book) brings up second.
