Hello. 07 Toyota Tundra. Woven wire ground strap underneath truck corroded in two. Any problem with just taking a copper house wire, giving some extra slack for movement and use it? If I remember right it connects the Transfer case to the body. 6" long. Thank you for your time.

No. Full do stuff, most all the time it works for cheaper. I have been getting better with age on realizing when to splurge. Heck any more I buy the best and use it forever.

I had that braided ground strap corrode and break on a truck I had. I replaced it with a negative battery cable I figured it was much thicker and would last longer. It worked fine.
