What new selection did New York make? They are still the same leftists they were yesterday. Finn you are a moron.... Don't lump all of us with the jackasses along, and east of the Hudson and, don't belittle other states until you right your own!

I don't think calling someone a moron will look too good on your social media report card next time you buy a gun.

You're both correct. NY does fall into the leftist category. But, thanks to the Twin Cities, MN has been off kilter to the left for a long time too. MN seems to have a habit of electing some pretty unsavory characters. They did it again this year.

What new selection did New York make? They are still the same leftists they were yesterday. Unfortunately Finn, we just lost our safety net in the form of a Republican lead NYS Senate. The NYS Senate will flip and we will now have all three branches of the State run by a single party - Democrats...

Not sure it is necessary to abandon the RP as of yet. These days it's our Senate that we have a chance at getting a majority. It has been on pretty thin ice for the past ten years or so and only holding the leadership because a few moderate independent Democrats Senators (IDC) caucused with the Republicans. Almost all those IDC members lost in their September primaries , so we knew this was coming, but no way to put up a "real" Republican candidate between September and November.
Hopefully the new NYS Senators with a D after their names will be a one-timers and we'll have the NYS Senate back the next time around. Until then, I am afraid we are going to take a beating on the 2A as well as hunting and trapping issues...

Thank God Tom Reed won the 23rd district of NY yesterday. There's a big InfoWars sticker on the lightpole at the entrance to the mall that's been there for a few years, and I'm just fine with that.
