1" to 2" of snow expected tomorrow for central Mo. Good god man, the end is near! Went to get supplies today, since we'll be stranded for weeks! Lol.

1" on the ground and the local schools are closing. I just can't believe how a little snow makes people lose thier minds. I have been watching out my patio door, and a little buck is chasing around a group of does. He is persistent.

We may be up to 2" now. Lol. We used to have a school supt. that came from Colorado. Schools never closed then. In the last several years, we have had a mass migration of city people move to our area. Some just can't leave thier city ways behind!

Don't even need to get any snow just forecast it here. If we get an inch here it will shut down the interstates until it melts off.

The temperature this morning here was -1. Normally not that big of a deal. But, for this time of the year it is. We went from winter to summer, no spring. Now, we've gone from summer to winter, no fall. You will never convince people around here we have global warming.

They close schools here only if it's colder than minus 55. Then, school opens as soon as it warms above that.

Well a bit down south here we have done the same thing. 3 weeks ago it was in the low 90 degree and we have had low 20’s most mornings last week and a skiff of snow this morning nearly two weeks before thanksgiving.
Spring same thing got to 90 in early May and hasn’t let up til 3 was ago. No spring no fall.

Not unusual in mid-south. Equipment gets so rusty between uses that it won't work, let alone justify a budget.

School personel are afraid of lawsuits if a child gets cold on a bus.
Most of us old timers remember walking to school uphill in May with a foot of snow on the ground and the return home was still up hill.

We have about an inch here in SOUTH Arkansas and it still snowing at 1:15 pm. Earliest snow I can remember.
