Last winter I snared nine coyote on this small farm, the ninth one chewed the wire off and left. I just snared her today, she's still wearing the loop from last year. When I gave up due to snow depth last winter I knew there was one fox and one coyote left there, I guessed it was a small female. This old skinny little coyote I'm guessing is between 11-13 years old, all canines are short stubs, some teeth gone, cutters wore way down. Hard to believe she could do that! Hoping to have pics soon

I like to keep the skulls of the old dogs.
Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!
If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

I once called in an old female yote. All her teeth were wore to the gum. Nothing but a white ring with black core. Reminded me of old cows that we called broken mouth gummers.

First one was sun morning, ugly red male, second was old female, still alive, third was a good sized male 100 yds from old female, fourth is nice looking female, I guessed them all correctly before looking

Gosh you think about the stuff they survive over the years it's a wonder they do live as long as that. Cars, diseases, storms, parasites, droughts, extreme cold and extreme heat, plus around here at least every passing truck stops and shoots at them off county roads. It's not like they ever get to go to a vet or dentist either, and God knows what all crud they choke down for food too. Congrats on catching the one still wearing the old collar from last season. That's something. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Hoping to have pics soon I would believe it! Foxes are smaller than yotes but the critters have gone through 3 broom handles already (I use them with the catch pole) and one made a right mess of the bark on a large tree at the top of the garden... If there's something strange in your neighborhood and it don't look good Who you gonna call (FoxExterminator) I ain't afraid of no fox

I think I'll pull three farms, there are very few coyotes again on them this year, for some reason there doesn't seem to be new ones moving in good, the big male caught with the old female wasn't there last year

This is an honest question, not trying to start anything. I've been trapping for 50 years so I am not anti. But, why do some trappers harass trapped animals with there dogs? Just wondering. Don't you think it gives fodder to the haters?
