Way to go, Sharon! The neighbors have to be getting used to this annual event now and probably sit and listen for your shot every year. Good job....again!
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Thank you, DD, and 0808080808.....thats fun, I could type those numbers a long time MnMan - yes sir, they expect to hear that - even though they're pushing 3/4 mile at the roads's end. Its fun to target shoot with too, but I can only take a few shots at a time in practice...its a handful of power to shoot and I do better in keeping my energy with small increments in fun with it. Thank you ! Thank you , W side, it is always fun to share in the fall adventures and enjoy everyone's experiences. I am just happy to be part of the cello string section of Mr Paul's orchestra

Very nicely done! That is a great picture and today the season ends another year in the books.

A fine looking animal there.

Thank you Adam, Scott, JP ! Les, I will have a dish of well seasoned heart on a plate tonight...at the edge of the table Thank you ! JM, the glades was an experience, for sure, though Im glad to be out of there ....thank you ! pcr2 , a nice account ! Sounds like a nice buck. Thank you, Allan ! Yes , they are amazing rifles . When I first saw and used a Monte Carlo stock, I thought that was the coolest invention since ice cream. Most stock combs are not high enough for me, and the MC was perfect for a snug fit against cheek and shoulder pocket. Plus the way the stock is shaped is simply gorgeous . The only thing I didn't like is the factory recoil pad Weatherby puts on them. Very hard rubber, in a colour that is entirely unattractive and clashes with the smooth presentation in looks. So I had my gunsmith take it off and put a nice soft rubber pad on, black, that now looks absolutely streamlined with the tones of wood and black of the barrel and scope. Perfect match- and so much better in softer recoil.
