Is this stuff as warm as people say it is?
How do you like the design of these and how does the sizing run?
Which do you have/have used?
Thanks.

Both are top notch. I prefer the fit of all first lite though. I’m 5’11 155lbs and their mediums fit me perfectly. I also like the finish on the first lite better. The incinerators act like Velcro to every briar and stick tight you encounter; the sanctuary’s do not. Just my experience

Marty, I own both. Get the Sitka. But buy a size up on the jackets and bibs. I usually wear an XL jacket and L bibs. I bought a 2X fanatic jacket, XL bibs and they fit great. The Firstlite is very nice, but fits a little snug through the chest. I am selling it, and all my other Firstlite garments. You just have more choices and variety of options with Sitka. Just look on Ebay for deals, they are there and will save you a ton of money.

What about the warm claims?
How warm is this stuff in reality?
For the record I recently purchased a used fanatic jacket and vest from the AT classifieds (the jacket is forest and I think it may be too dark for late season so I may get rid of it, the vest is ev2 and I like that pattern) and new sanctuary bibs from FL.....the bibs are on sale and were $251 shipped.
The bibs are not here yet and I have not used the fanatic stuff yet either.... I will in the next few days. I got the sanctuary bibs because of stick ums walking in....the fanatic is fleece the sanctuary is not.

I like the older forest pattern much better than the new elevated II. Its been so wet here in Ohio. For days after a rain, the trees in the woods look so dark, almost black. The new elevated pattern has light grays in its pattern that is way too bright next to these dark tree trunks. I much prefer the look of the old forest pattern in these conditions. I have yet to be "picked out" wearing it. With a good thermal vest, I have been very comfortable hunting in the low 20's with the Fanatic.

Juju is great, but they don’t really have a dog in the right when it comes to late season warm bibs like Marty is referring to. Marty, I’m sure you’ve googled it,; but there’s no shortage of discussion out there on this very topic.

They're proud of it too. Looks like nice warm gear.

Plenty of talk on AT about these things but I wanted to ask trappers because they are the salt of the earth and I trust their opinions more. 15 out now so I guess I will find out how warm my tops are today and I will be packing in my Cabelas standhunter bibs till the sanctuary bibs come.
