Well, it survived the low shot from our October encounter. I sat my stand wednesday over looking the same food plot and he came out from the same trail and then went back into the woods. A few minutes later, the same band of does who's been hanging around since early October entered the field. Sure enough, he comes back out and began chasing a couple of does. I line up of the crosshairs for a high DRT shoulder shot and let one go..........right over his shoulder. That's right, he lives on. I know it was him, same trial, same rack, same characteristics. This buck must have a force field around him. Now it has become personal and will see if round 3 occurs. Maybe this buck is not meant to be killed this year. Who knows? Buck 2, Hunter 0 Well on a good note, I picked up my Halloween buck from the taxi. Will post picks soon. Sarge
