14.3% of the US population is immigrants. 51% of those immigrants receive welfare, so around 7.2% of the US population is immigrants on welfare. Different people get different amounts of welfare, but roughly 7.2% of 1.3 trillion dollars is an incredible amount of money.
Keith The problem isn't the immigrants it's the welfare state. End the welfare state! All of it and return to sound money practices. The wall is a false flag, until the citizenry realizes what the real issue is nothing will change.

I'm assuming when most here say welfare they mean SNAP benefits.
Back when they started food stamps were like coupons. You still had to have a little cash in order to her the benefit which means you maintained some sort of social support network or at least had a patroness job. For every $1 you spent you got $2 worth of food.
We could do that today and adjust the rate to the need. Or we could encourage people to feed themselves by not giving them anything

so, who is contacting the ranchers who own land on the border? and coordinating the construction on those lands?
who says the govt has to build it? organize it? they should be driving/drilling now! One of those ranchers asked for help about 5 years ago. Wound up hanging from a bridge with Columbian neck tie. Can't remember the details. But I think the cartel hung his whole family from bridge? Only people that try to block wall by use of land will be lefty environmentalist etc...
