I checked two cages the other day, doors down, no bait, no critter. Yep, forgot to close the bait door.

Don't even bother to carry one... but do carry a 1 gallon pail of sifted peat/dirt treated with antifreeze to every set... speeds things right along.

I get having so much fun scratching around in the dirt making a set and partially cover them up.

I paint my trapping tools orange .That way when I return to pick them up I can as least see where I left them to start with
