Nothing like ending the year with 50* highs, an inch of rain, and then 30 mph winds. Is it March already ? All pocket sets along creek under water, all dirt hole sets filled with water, everything a sopping muddy mess. What a year here in the Midwest, no snow but a few dustings in Nov. , just warm and wet with intermediate freeze ups. Oh well I'm sure in April it will be 15* with 6" of snow. Carry on.

Same here out of the 15 days l've trapped so far it has rained 12 of those day with over 6" of rain . I set back at the last of November for ten days for coyotes and had some good weather , but these last 5 have been a sloppy mess on the remakes. There nothing like trapping for coyotes in chest waders just to stay dry. Hopefully the new year will bring some dryer and colder weather I've got 4 farms to trap for beaver and I'm not even sure where the creek is now cause it's so high .

Same here, of course the weather for the rest of the week looks pretty good.
