The number is size. The name is Body grip traps. The name Conibear is the name of Victor body grip traps and over the years a lot call all BG's conibears.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Conibear, is the name of the Canadian trapper who inventor of the humane trap ... Frank Conibear. And the number refers to both size and power.
The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

so a 330 should be around 330 pounds of force per sq. inch regardless of size?

Would that make 120 a 240 and a 660 a 330. Trap makers sure like to mess up a system.

The # is about the size of the jaw spread, not power. Some manufacturers use the same springs on 110's through 155's. Anyway, this link may help ya out. Different sizes of body grip traps.

Which manufacturers use the same spring's on 110's as 155's. I would certainly not want to buy from them.

Why ? Be fine as that's not a huge size difference.
