In PA we used to find many near Maddensville in SE Huntington County...….back in the 70's-80's...…...freshly plowed fields and/or after a rain

As a kid when my grandma was still living, I would find them in the plowed fields like many have said.
Has been years since looking for and finding arrowheads. Found my first in many years on the opening day of our rifle season. Killed a 9-point and decided I could drive the power line right of way to retrieve the buck. Unfortunately got high centered in a wash out on the right of way. While waiting on a pull out I glanced at the wash out bank and there was an arrowhead. Have a picture on my phone but don't know how to put on here.
About three weeks ago while setting a farm my wife called with one of those "emergency's" women tend to have. While listening on the phone I looked at my feet and saw a worked piece of flint. Dug it up and it was an intact arrowhead.

A lot of farmers are disking fields now. 3 fields near me got disked this week.. They will mostly use a cultivator in the Spring too, right before planting.

I have never found one, would love too. I have a cousin that has found a few jars full. I been with people in the outdoors and they find them while I'm right there with them. LOL Unreal I haven't run across one but I really never have dedicated a true search for them. I may have to do it sometime. I have found a hammer head that I treasure though.
