Golfball have you considered a heavy duty gear reduction motor or just the transmission I got one from a old harvest door powered by a 1/2 hrs 110 motor it has the strength to bend a 3/4" solid shaft. For grinding bone you want hp not speed. Always remember bad things happen at high speed

that's actually all I was hoping for! I know were a small one is that's got a 5" adjustable throat its missing the motor but I got a 16 hrs kohler sitting idle. I've got a chest freezer full of gutted frozen ground hogs id like to make into a managable mess

thanks don I would go thru it with a fine tooth comb before firing it up! And yes they will be done froze I believe that will make the least amount of disaster. A rooster tail of bloody meat would be a sight straight out of a horror movie!

fella I know with a mink/fox farm had a large grinder powered by a 6 cylinder chevy motor I helped him put deer in it they were gutted but the carcass went in the tub he shoveled some over and after the second pass it looked like it came out of the store don't know if he made it or bought it
