New gov and super majority democratic legislature passed new gun control measures with more licensing restrictions on gun dealers and concealed carry licenses and foid card copies attached to all gun sales. 30 cent gas tax and graduated income tax the next two items on agenda. Going to be a long four years

Glad I sold out and left more every time I read what they are doing. Better keep your pumpkin business quiet or they will tax that too.

You have Chicago we have MPLS St Paul, I feel your pain. Don't forget Duluth/Iron Range and Rochester. Our new governor already has plans for gas tax and gun control. This one actually appears sober, so has a fair chance of pulling them off.

Yup, the problem in MN is that the seven county metro around Mpls-St.Paul has enough of a population that they have more representatives than the rest of the state combined. Considering that Mpls-St. Paul is rated the second most liberal city behind San Francisco and we now have Keith Ellison as our attorney general, the rest of the state must rise up and vote and hope the liberals stay home or we are in for some tough sledding in the next few years.

The rural community doesn't understand that the democratic party is completely different then the one they started out voting for 30 yrs ago. I still can't believe we got walz, ellison, and smith. This state is doomed!
