Obama said we all could keep our health programs we liked too, see how that went !

Yes there are more pressing needs but your missing the point here of one against the many, if either wins then the other loses everything, that's why neither wants to give in.

Your seeing the same thing with SS and Medicare, welfare, there is no compromise to work things out, regardless of both sides seeing the need for it.

Demo's know for a fact the people want illegals curbed, they have admitted to the need, they want to control, therefore their need out weighs the need of the many in this country, so its a giant stall.

Rebup's don't wish to support a business back ground President for fear they will be seen as non-political so they behind his back come up with ideas to circumnavigate his shutdown, no one wins, the whole lot need excavated and replaced on both sides, with people who do want this country back where it's supposed to be !

Spot on. The dems voted for exactly what Trump is proposing now but are suddenly against it whole-sale. Go figure.

Yes, Trump was offered around 30 Billion for his wall but turned it down.

I am shuttered, because I fully agree with what Johnny Raincloud said here. Great post Grit!

But hudson fur, what about the bump stock ban, you have failed to mention that on this thread, unlike all the rest lol.

My understanding is illegals get to keep their bump stocks.

My original "point" was to ask about U.S. citizens losing their right to a natural resource which includes hunting, trapping and fishing along with some other outdoor activities.

if the barrier was built on the line, we'd still have access to half the river, yes? the same half we NOW can legally fish, hunt, trap...

I have suffered through all of the obscure points of view of this thread, waiting for just one justifiable reason to continue to the end.
And hear it is!
I don't laugh out loud very often, I did just now though.
Well done Rat, well done.

There is an enormous multutide of better, safer places for US Citizens to hunt trap and fish. Millions of acres of better places were made illegal for Americans to acces by obama. Fortunately President Donald Trump got rid of those executive orders by obama.

The only reason I see that anyone would bring up US Citizens losing acesss to the Rio Grande, to attack our President, is that they are a liberal troll, probably the same liberal troll who has been banned from this site several times and who has snuck back once again.

I thought of this when I was watching the Texas Game Warden program and they were going down the river cutting the mexican's gill nets in half.

Notice there is no denial that the troll was not banned before. Look at it's current body of work. It has gotten more clever after being banned repeatedly, but uses the same words and sentence structure.

The right to a natural resource is right next to the right to a bump stock in the Constitution.
