I need a portable radio for in my fur shed and hunting/trapping camp.Any ideas or ratings from you trappers on what has worked well for yourself. My shed and camp are in limited reception areas. Thanks
I use my Milwaukee m-18 all the time, it a pretty good portable radio if you have the batteries already. You might need to rig an antenna to connect to it in a limited reception area.

Yep..I'm needing one also..AM/FM/ Weather..I don't care what it costs..I just want it to be a quality..long lasting..with top notch reception..etc..and portable
I have a Grundig radio here at my camp, it has all the features your asking about. It’s working great after 10 years or more. I catch a lot of Canadian shortwave here with it as well.

Yep..So thanks..those look to be top end radios..I have a question though..none of the models has a "Weather" band...Does the short wave portion of the radio give 'Weather" or do you not get a weather band at all...
I keep it in my wood shop and put an older one down in my fur shed.
For the price I am pleased with it. t gets much better AM reception than my old one and doesn't make that annoying noise when really cold like most older radios do.
I bought an expensive AM/FM for camp that cost three times as much because it was supposed to get really great AM reception. this one is better.
