Scott the trick is to get a run for it and only ride on top of the drifts.

Where are all the grandkids when you need them? Lol

You are socked in. The problem with plowing is when the wind blows again it fills right back in. The only hope is a bit of warm up for a crust to stop what we have from blowing. Then if crusts we get more snow and wind, it fills in even faster. I been there and done it is also, a never ending cycle till we really warm up.

I have had a few posts inquiring about plows, snow machine, UTV and such in the last month. I will make a decision by next winter what I'm going to do. Good luck and keep us posted after you get it opened up. Would like to see some pictures. LOL

Snowy I had a a guy come over yesterday with his UTV in the morning before the blowing started and he said I'll trade you some Beaver trapping for me to come over and dig you out with the tractor, but when he left it was around 1 in the afternoon and he left it very very narrow and it all blew in by 10:30 so today is another fresh day.

Bill, the Grandkids are tucked in in their prospective homes grin

So you made a deal with the neighbor to remove the snow in exchange for you to remove his beaver.

So when you remove some of his beaver is he going to expect for you to cone back and get the rest of them? Call him up and nicely tell him he forgot some of his snow.

Plowing or pushing snow works if you have some where to go with it and not much snow. From what I can see in that picture, I would be looking for someone with a blower. I would make short work of that with my skidsteer and blower. If you ever run a blower on a skid or tractor, you will never want to push snow again.
