sold some coyotes last week... had a couple #1 brought 60.... the rest were #2 brought 40.... that's about what I thought I would get... broke even for the year, and have more to sell, so i'm happy. from what the guy in the window told me #1 are hard to come by in my area

unless I sell to nafa, choices kinda slim around here.... also nafa wants 11% to sell my fur. I think its a wash... thought I did ok considering the 3 in front of me only brought 15 per.. guess I don't really know where to sell them

You know what your fur looked like, and you're happy with the price you received. That's what counts. I thought Groeny treated me fair on my rats when I sold to him. If someone sells theirs for more, I'm happy for them. Prices on your best coyotes sounded pretty good to me.

You are confused-NAFA is not a fur buyer.Yes I think their info is rock solid.Just check out their rat and beaver videos-top notch.

Wrong again(except about me grading coyotes).I know most of those guys in Toronto and they know more about fur than you ever will. Guys like Paddy Hall,Ron Lancour,Dave Bewick,Jeff Guillemette,Steve Gamblin,Therese Demers,Bob McQuay, and numerous others, all honest highly experienced graders that have shared lots of their time and knowledge with trappers. I take offense at you calling them dishonest.

If you deal in any large amount of fur, a person quickly finds out that everyone slights the truth. Sometimes it’s not even on purpose. Fur business is very hard to predict any which way you choose.

Shows what you know, some are/were Nafa Brass. I know that the amount of fur you have sold at Nafa probably is a drop in the bucket to what I have. I also know that the names you listed are only slightly more important then the Mexicans they have working at Stoughton. If you don’t think the management at Nafa won’t lie and twist words you really don’t know what’s going on.
