I have been looking for a pair of wool pants that doesn't have to be 100% wool. I do know the price has gone up over the years and what I have seen they have gone crazy with prices. I have two pair that are 30 plus years old and are getting thin and have a few holes in them. Does anyone have a place you know of that carries wool pants?

Crazy prices on wool. I have a pair of Filson wool pants and the Double Mackinaw Cruiser coat I bought years ago. It would cost me over eight hundred dollars to replace them today.

Johnson Woolen Mills make a great product and are a bit less expensive.

I find lots of quality ones at garage sales. Wool is not in fashion anymore around here. I have 17 lifetime supplies in the garage.

I have nothing clever to put here.

The bitterness of poor quality last a lot longer than the sweetness of low price

I have looked at some of these second hand stores and never seem to find anything. It must go fast or there is getting less of it now. Thanks I will be heading for the town in a little while I stop and look at the one place I know of.

Before Bass Pro completely destroys Cabela's, you might want to look into their Wooltimate pants. I own a pair and they are about all I wear during trapping season.

eBay has quite a selection. Type men’s outdoor wool pants. I bought Filson Mackinaw cruisers for a very reduced price.

I found some 2 years ago at one of the milsurp outlets. They were un-issued Korean war era wool dress uniform pants. The wool is not overly heavy, is a tight weave, and has a surface that doesn't catch thorns and burrs. Sizes are hit and miss but I was lucky enough to get a couple of pairs in my size.
