I'll try it this year , one batch pasteurized and same urine not, give it a year and see which smells the most like fresh urine. After all testing is the only way to know.

Yes sir let the animals test it. Doesn't really matter what a human nose likes

Unless what you pasteurized is kept in a sterile environment anaerobic bacteria will again start the decay process. No matter the method you use to sterilize something if it is prone to decay it will begin to decay as soon as it is exposed to air, unless a chemical antibacterial agent, like say salt or sodium benzoate, is added.

Meat fed winter collected coyote or fox pee is naturally stable. Ammonia escapes when the lid is removed, sediment will collect in the bottom of the container, it will get darker. After a month or so it doesn't change anymore. Shake it up a bit to mix the sediment back in and give a squirt, almost every animal that finds it will walk up to have a sniff.

The only time I have felt I had to pasteurize a batch of urine was several years back. It stopped what was sure to be a spoiled batch. Way to expensive to toss out. A touch of MP and SBZ will stop any continued bacteria/mold development if suspected. You can tell by the odor when we get urine in if it is souring or crisp good run stout urine.

I would add sodium benzoate to it to preserve it. I don't know much about freeze proofing but have you thought about glycerin, or propylene glycol?
