A friend in Mn. has a Beaver problem, and found a guy to trap them out. He only got 1 large Beaver before freeze up, and now he say's he has Muskrats plugging the drains.
Do M-rats plug pipes or does he have young Beaver doing it?

Since he only caught one large beaver, my money says it is another large beaver doing the plugging. Where there is one, there is usually a pair.

Guys I have had muskrats attempt to block smaller culverts...using cut cattails and long weeds. Caught the culprits and the "attempt to block" the culverts stopped.
