Its a British Seagull and as far as I can make out made pre 1950. Its still the short crank bearing version, so it runs on a lean mix of 1:16 and in warm rich weather on 1: 10 The EPA is going to love me bringing this smoking girl back to life. So if things get warm this summer. Blame me as I will her up and running, contributing our part to the global warming

Looks to me like a seagull.Had a couple when I lived overseas.Best little motor,take a beating and keeps on going.

Son had old 38 Johnson that he fixed up and ran for fun. think i was an 8 horse. It could exhaust into the water or the air. At 10:1 mix it did smoke up the place when running. He towed a couple feller in a bass boat back to their launch one day. They were sitting in a cloud of smoke back there.. Funny stuff. No mosquitoes!!

I may have to go a build a little wooden boat to hang it on drive it around for one summer and then sell it. Its the project that has me interested not owning one to keep around.
