My cumulative grade point average for four years at the University of Missouri was 3.37.
Jarhead Now you get to be critiqued. At Boston University Alexandra Ocasio Cortez graduated with a 3.68 grade point average. Does that make her smarter than you? No, she appears to be dumber than dirt and everything that's wrong with over priced liberal ivory towers. The whole point being that it's probably better to never give your enemy ammunition because they will just use it against you.

The people who bought their way into schools would not have worked hard enough to earn the degrees. They would have been exposed in the process and either dismissed for poor grades and poor attendance or because of the pressure they would have dropped out on their own.
I have no sympathy for the people involved in these scandalous fraudulent admission schemes. By wrongfully admitting the unqualified people, they undoubtedly prevented those same opportunities from being available to people who worked hard to earn those opportunities.
The proper way to get into college and law school requires the drive, dedication, focus, and ambition to work hard in school all the way through graduation earning the top grades, score at the top on entrance exams, along the way be an outstanding citizen and make connections with the best people in the community to earn their respect so that they will write glowing letters of recommendation, and then impress the admissions committee with a great personality, sincerity, integrity, and charm. After admission, the student must continue to work hard to achieve and earn the desired degrees. It is then necessary to work even harder to develop and succeed in a highly competitive career.
The fakers would not have made It!

Jarhead Why didn't you pursue a commission? My niece started out as an enlisted Marine, got her degree and is now about to become a full bird colonel. Her dad, my brother was a E-3 Huey door gunner in Vietnam. I think I'd have a hard time saluting someone I diapered.

I've got to keep my mouth shut.
My theology degree came pretty cheap with my online resume.
Bless you, nonetheless.

Paper, paper, paper.
It used to be that a person could succeed on their own merits. These days those merits seem to need to be proven by some piece of paper.
I use more paper to wipe my butt, than I ever needed to drive my career.

GPA comparisons are virtually meaningless without knowing the majors, minors and classes taken. They also do not correlate very closely with IQ.
Keith Citations?? I also achieved GED College Level U.S. percentile scores of 74, 96, 93, and 87 on the four sections of the U.S. Armed Forces Institute Military test. Since I received 32 advanced credits upon entrance at U. of Missouri for that I didn't consider it meaningless. Jarhead
