its got mule deer.. and big whitetails too. Occasional elk... although elk would be a separate charge. This is the deer hunting of your wildest dreams!!! been lots of days hunting it.. I've seen well over 100 deer.. 10-20 bucks. This is the first year ive decided to allow trespass hunting... this is not a guided hunt... you are on your own. Hotel is about 15-20 minute drive away. Im only offering 2 hunts... with weeks in between.. so deer will not be pressured. our season runs from October 20 till December 1. its all over the counter tags.. all you gotta do is buy one.. there's no draws involved.

Allow trespass hunting? Never heard of such a thing. Heard of letting someone hunt. Heard of selling hunts

No such thing as an over the counter non resident deer tag in MT.

I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

Guess I should clarify. There are no over the counter buck tags for non residents. A non resident can buy doe tags. I believe they are 75 dollars each.
Non residents need to apply for a buck tag. The application deadline is March 15.

If you want to sell something, it helps to have a price on it for people to see. Unless you are embarrassed by the price or something is fishy about it.

MNSouthPaw... what's so fishy about it? Ive got some sweet hunting ground i hunt... id like to share with 2 other people... so.. if they pay my price... they get to "trespass" and hunt an unbelievable spot.. all to them selves... Whats so hard to understand?

Trust me. I live in region 7 which I not a special draw unit. I have to call and remind all my out of state cousins to apply for a general tag before March 15.
It has been that way for quite a few years now.

I was speaking in general terms. If a used car on the side of the road has a for sale sign on it and no price, the owner is usually too embarrassed to put such a high price on it, or there is something fishy about it that they are trying to hide. Many people will stop to look at things for sale and just leave because the price is not on it. Hence the "if you are trying to sell something, it helps to have a price on it for people to see." Never called your set up fishy, don't know you or anything about your land or area, sorry if I hurt your feelings.

For a quite a few years in a row we had surplus tags because there was more tags available than the number of hunters that applied. But the last three or four years in a row now all the tags available were applied for and gotten so no over the counter tags available.
