That's a lotta bull. How is his attitude? His attitude is still good...might be because I raised him from a fall calf. He still moves off when I raise my arms and walk towards him ... "Git-bull, wsheet whsheet Get bull yah!" Keith, he is in a 40 x60' pen water and hay... TM block until mid July to breed.

he looks good 330.. nice deep body... id guess 1450 1500 lbs hard to judge from pics... just a wild (/) guess.... ya got some animals to be proud of...

A good bull will have qualities in future offspring, such as birth weight, calving ease and growth. You he has those qualities and the calves are satisfactory for you he is a good one. Disposition is a big deal in my opinion also.

My brother got a Scottish Highlander bull from a local petting zoo and since the calf had been in so much human contact, understandably it was like having a big puppy around. It's disposition seemed to carry on to his calf's as the too seem to be reasonably calm to work with. I'm sure much of that is credited to the bull having a good disposition to begin with, but sure helps when having to work with or around the bull as well as the rest of the heard.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.
