Spent a day weeding it out of an area on my property liking it was an invasive and found out what it was and how edible it is(and good tasting). It is a favorite forage plant by Italians on the east coast Euell says. Most volunteer seed readily on open moist ground because it was thick where I pulled it. Young leaves, stems and flower clusters before they bloom(yellow).

They are actually bi-annual plants. So there was a little rosette last fall there. Any plant in the Brassicae family (mustard) when rubbed with the fingers will get the mustard smell being released.
No flea bettles marks on those plants but there is a leaf minner eating on the inside of one leaf.

It went in my dinner salad with a mustard and poppyseed vinaigrette this eavening .
