Bolted a couple of adjustable aluminum angles to the rungs that I can screw to the log. Cheap and easy way of doing it

Good idea.

They are all just a little to long for my stove. Good job you love that saw. Can you cut a couple of inches of those so they fit in my stove ?? Spikey said she will wait

No but she wakes me up at night when I have to put more logs on the fire lol

Not that she does it on purpose but when it gets to cold in front of the stove, she climbs into bed and that wakes me up and I know its time to sort out the fire

You will like that Mtronic carb. Give the saw a few tanks of gas and let the carb learn a thing or two and it will come to life.

I can't wait for the MS 500I to come out. I'm really ecited to see what a 79cc fuel injected saw can do.

The 500I is only 50cc but is supposed to have the ability of a 75cc carburated saw in a light weight package . They a playing with carbon fiber at Stihl now to get the weight down even more.
Back home many moons ago I picked up a Sachs Dollar 125cc from a company that changed to a wheeled electric Still for cutting packets of pine boards. Compared with that beast, the 661 is quite manageable. The M-tronic seems like a good idea but its my first saw with that feature and I am curious about how it will work

Also forgot to mention I’ve never heard it called hydro-carbon-foam slabs.

I have an 029 farm boss that I bought 25 years ago.I couldn't count how much wood I have cut with it over the years.Only thing I have had to do to it is replace the chain sprocket. And new bars of course.

That's going to be a fun saw to lug around once you get a mill attached to it.
