Glad you can keep them this time of year up there. Doing our best to avoid them in all our sets this spring. They do have a knack for finding a perfect beave set. Going to get him tanned. I know otter prices are low and I would imagine their fur isn’t real good at this time of year

Turned one in to the DNR yesterday. Our season ended 3/31 but I do adc work and unfortunately got one in a drowned rig on a beaver job
At least it will be put to use

Fur may be ok but possibly singed.At one time a singed spring otter brought good money as a lot of them were plucked and sheared like beaver.As long as they havent started shedding it should have hvy underfur.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
