I doubt NAFA will ever go under. They will make some changes to see that never happens.

See what happens when you let Canada Goose dictate who your certified trappers can be ??? ......yes agreed and they will! Canada goose can buy from whomever they want, but after reading this I think it would be hard for them use the all trappers aren't certified excuse.

NAFA is cutting services to its shippers buy letting agents go to lower there operating costs, did they make labor cuts to there over paid over staffed management? There service quality in the field will drop, will commission charges drop to reflect the service drop? I'm all for cost cutting if it saves me money also. If you have been shipping for any length of time you saw your commission charges reduced with profit sharing in the good years, and I doubt you refused any of the money. Commission charges will not be dropping in times like these, but these cost cutting measures now could certainly save you (or makey you) money down the road. Keeping NAFA solvent will be a good thing for the fur market where ever you decide to market your fur.

es, the May/June sale is still happening. Order of sale should be published soon. It will be another 4-5 weeks before we see catalogs. And after catalogs are ready, then come grades!! The moment every one waits for......:) You betcha!! Its always fun (usually) to see the "lotting letter". The only more fun is selling at above what you thought would happen. But "buy backs" are a downer. The cycle of life I guess.
"And God said, Let us make man in our image and let them have dominion and all the creatures that move along the ground". Genesis 1:26
