Dear Trappermen and Ladies:

I am in need of pictures of famous trapper Johnny Thorpe for an exciting illustration project I am working on. I am needing EARLIER pics of Mr. Thorpe in his prime. His face must be shown, looking at the camera/viewer with his trademark cowboy hat. I need to see his eyes, or the pics are of no use to me. I will also need permission from you to use these in my drawing, so please note this before posting. If anyone out there knows how to get ahold of his son Jim, please pm me with info. The number I've called has a voicemail box that is full, I am unable to leave a message. I would GREATLY appreciate any help on this. Once again, I am looking for YOUNGER pics of Johnny, if possible, from 20 years ago or more. Sure hope someone can help!

Well, I know this isn't an older pic Joe, but I took this one maybe 8 or 9 years ago? Thought it did him well. Anyway, I'll delete it if you can't use it, just getting the ball rolling here. You do good work, sir. Maybe there are others who'd like a copy of this one.

Only met him once and puter crashed so lost that picture but it wasn't an earlier picture, good luck.

You might want to get up with Jim Comstock. He and Johnny trapped together a long time ago.
