Paul Grimshaw used to advocate using Bounty Towels when Fisher trapping. Does anyone recall how and why?

I know he used them for beaver trapping,eye appeal and to hold lure. Could be same reason for fisher.

If I remember correctly he placed lure on them, tied the towel by or on the bait, and I believe in dry falls may just have used the white towel for an attractor up the running pole set. This is going back a while as it was in the 70s or 80s that he showed me that.
