Im with Boco the only thing that differs us from other animals is that we can reason but we don't use it well. Save the beaver and maybe a few other animals we are the only critters that modify our habitat to a great extent. I know in some areas poaching is a real problem of some wildlife, controlled harvest not a big issue. The loss of habitat, pollution and waste of water and yeah, mother nature will take care of it all. Any population of animals that I know of has a bell curve life. I builds up and crashes, then slowly builds up and crashes. Why should we think we are different? We quite frankly poop in our own nest use resources beyond our real needs and many are not renewable. Can our technology save us without resources. There is a carrying capacity for the world and humans no different than any other species. We as trappers should understand this better than anyone.
