dogs back leg got real stiff and cant move and seems to have a lot of pain when rubbed on back didn't have any unusual activity today so I'm at a loss shes half pit half miniature greyhound she's a coyote decoy dog and retrieves dove and quail

It is really hard to tell. If she was mine we would be visiting a vet. Dogs are the best.

Lymes will affect a certain joint and be very painful. If it is in your area, start dog on Doxycycline, symptoms will subside immediately.

nearest vet that's open is 90 mi away. she's not in as much pain this morning back leg is just limp now with sharp pains when moved too much. will take her to local vet tomorrow

my dog had a heart murmur and a blood clot lodged in a front leg.

Our indoor mutt had that same problem this past winter, turned out to be Lymes.
