Raising a Bonnie O S Cross cabbage for a friends grandson. His 3rd grade class is having a contest to see who can grow the largest cabbage. Bonnie provided the plants in February.

Should we remove outer leaves that appear to be burned from excessive Miracle Grow? The plant is now about 30 inches wide and forming a head. It is still growing.

Anyone have any experience they can share?
