I think most will be absorbed, but at what prices. Last Kopenhagen sale was lower prices than the previous sale. Buyers are starting to look into the future as there will be way less mink for sale in the next two years. Supply/demand is finally correcting itself.

They were not absorbed at the last auctions (SAGA and NAFA). Unless they all got sold( given away) PT, There will be carryover for next years buyers, especially since they can't give them away. Only 3 more years for the turn around. I apologize for using the term " give away" that would imply breaking even. The buyers are getting them below cost. I apologize again, it appears 6 million got absorbed at the May Kopenhagen sale. I wonder if they can give away another 7 million in June?

Do the Chinese sell any of their ranch mink at the auctions, such as Kopenhagen or are they all used internally...?

I apologize for using the term " give away" that would imply breaking even. The buyers are getting them below cost. The skins were almost all sold. I don’t get what you are trying to say. Giving away doesn’t mean anywhere near break even prices. The auctions are trying to give some away now.

If it cost me $30 to make a widget and I sell it for $30, I gave it away. If I sell it for below production cost, I'm paying you X amount to accept my gift.
P.S. If all the widget makers control and own the widget auctions, then widget makers are giving their stuff away.
