Found some traps, $100 per box /dozen did i do ok? Was thinking the 2 unopened boxes might be great decorations to a collector. #2 longs

My late friend Richard loved them for all land trapping in Southern Wisconsin since he found them easier for him to set than coil springs.

Very nice find, good for you. I caught my first raccoon in a Victor #2 long spring. Rock cubby built alongside a small creek. At that time I thought that was a big trap.

Dust off the tops of the boxes and you should a date stamp and maybe a shift number. If so, that is the date when the traps were made and boxed. Kind of a neat feature. The logo on the box looks to be older, Animal Trap Company. Not Woodstream.

I'm thinking 1950s or 1960s.
