Thank you for this information, I am related to Chauncey Hart and his sons. I have been collecting Hart traps for several years now and have about 45 different traps in my collection. Hubert Hart patented this mouse trap, 20 Dec. 1870 and this dogless trap, 18 Oct. 1864 with his brother George. Hart information is hard to find, I can use all the help I can get.

Glad you enjoyed, sorry the trap is not in better condition, could not find any writing or stamping on the trap.
