We can't do anything about the debt. We are a debt based society do to getting in business with the federal reserve (Thomas Jefferson warned us not to). If we dramatically lower the debt our dollar will lose a lot of value. If you want to get rid of the debt, it would be better to remove the federal reserve all together and create our own currency backed by something like it used to be. However, that would be financially painful to the country for a while.

Have to agree with above, but add we will never see that debt cleared, only get larger, this country is no longer dependent on it's self to survive, like in the "old" day's.

Even trying to create a new currency would not do anything but throw the rest of this world into total chaos, we are stuck in a black hole that will just keep getting larger until it implodes on it's self !

That's not Trumps fault either !
