I say give it to them. It is just condensed water from the atmosphere. They probably drink less pure water from old bowls or water puddles.

Cats should not be allowed to roam free...... But to answer your question, yes, it will be fine.

I figured you'd have a still in the window,Savell. Had one in the porch at the camp.Only ran it in winter though. One day it blew a hole in the roof and all the windows needed replaced. We replaced the cooker too.

They are barn cats, if it kills them use them for coyote bait.
Wish I had more time to trap....

Probably not fine for people. Outside of condenser tubes may be moldy or covered in aerosolized dirt and solvents. . Cats may survive but your kids are at risk. If the air in your shop is acidic, this may eat a bit of your aluminum condenser tubes and result in exposure to significant amounts of aluminum. There has been more than a casual link to Alzheimer’s disease but it’s still being studied. Drinking this water might be good in a pinch but for regular use, I’d recommend against it.

Legionnaires is inhaled and it comes from droplets, mostly from water cooled air conditioners, but I get your point.

It's OK for a cat to drink, but definitely below standards for a dog.
