Was 97 with around 80+% humidity earlier. Soaking wet in less than an hour if you’re outside doing anything...even in the shade... Thank goodness it rained...

122 inside the boat I was working on and I think around 80% of the wet stuff in the air. Water temperature is 87 and you can walk across the sound on shark backs so swimming is not an option either lol Looking forward to sitting under a tree in TN during the hottest part of the day or go snake spotting in the brush.

Only 86 here today, about 100% humidity. Tough to work in, though then again I complain when it is 10 below zero with a bit of a breeze.
Ya know when you get up at 5am and it is foggy and 72 that things will not go well.

you can wear the humidity here. I don't breathe water as well as I used to. We just missed a good rain awhile ago. If that storm in the gulf comes up thru here we may get something next week.
Its global warming, it happens about this time every year. If they moved the elections to July and Aug they could sell the global warming and people would easily believe it, lol.

Dew point is the key to how nasty it is. Our dew point is regularly between 70 and 76. That makes being outside down right miserable. You sweat, but it doesn't evaporate and cool you down.

Can always tell eastern folk they add to the temp in summer and subtract from temp in winter. Heck they even name the storms. Its just hot/cold or dang hot/cold out west. And those winter storms passed here 2 days before they got named. Lol

I'll take low humidity high temps any day compared to the weather back east.

Monsoons should start soon. Weatherman just said that rain is a possibility starting Sat with High's in mid 90's and low's in the low 60's.

Hot, muggy, bugs, no air moving, ; not a fan of summer. Easier for me to warm up in the winter than stay cool in the summer. I have to plan my day around early morning and late evening. I work 3rd shift so I try to sleep during the hottest part of the day.

When doing beaver work this time of the year, I use tropical hours for work. When I was in the tropics, we worked from the crack of dawn until noon. That's how I do beaver work in the summer months.
